Tenants eligible under this program pay based on 30% of their gross monthly adjusted income. The rental calculations are based on gross income from all sources, including regular monthly income and income from assets, but some credit is given for medical expenses.

The monthly rent pays for the following:

  • Maintenance of building exterior.
  • Maintenance of the common areas and grounds.
  • Maintenance of the building plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and building-owned appliances.
  • Water and sewer services.
  • Domestic hot water.
  • Refrigerator, electric range, and garbage disposal.
  • Individually-controlled heating and air conditioning.
  • 24-hour answering service for maintenance emergencies.
